The idea of setting up an epidemiological research center for non-communicable diseases in 2008 was conducted by Dr. Ahmadi, along with the follow up of the establishment of a Master's degree in epidemiology at School of Public Health in Shahrekord University Medical of Sciences (SKUMS), and remained silent regarding his mission to complete postgraduate education in a Ph.D.
In 2014, the idea was restored and followed up by their return to university. This idea was followed up in October 2014 with the participation of a group of faculty members from the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and faculty members from other colleges, including clinical and clinical staff.
The application was sent to the Ministry of Health and Medical Education with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology of the University and the chairman of the Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences. Finally, after a year of study, the name of the modeling research center for non-communicable diseases was proposed by the Ministry of Health.
Several articles have been published with Ephesus. Finally, by completing the documentation and reprinting and follow-up, at the meeting of the Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education on 11/24/1994, as well as in the second and fifty-third session of the Council for the Promotion of the Medical Sciences Universities of the country Dated 9/22/2015, in the letter No. 1009/500 / dated 18.3.2015, the Minister of Health and Medical Education was approved by the Health Modeling Research Center of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences.
The center has several Model Committees Statistical, mathematical, economical, psychological, epidemiologic and policy-making in health, artificial intelligence, Data mining and information technology.
